Join us for Pride Sunday worship with activist Allyson Robinson, guest preacher. In addition, both the Middle Church Choir and the Middle Church Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir will sing.

We are also happy to welcome voguing from legendary icon Milton Garcia Ninja and House of Ninja with music by DJ Steve "Chip Chop" Gonzalez Ninja.

Allyson Robinson, an activist specializing in LGBTQ rights, is believed to be the first openly transgender minister in the Baptist church. Allyson officiated the renaming ceremony for Caitlyn Jenner, which was broadcast on the season 1 finale of E!’s hit show I Am Cait. In 2008, Allyson joined the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), where she oversaw HRC's program to foster LGBTQ diversity in the workplace. She received her Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis on Social Justice from George W. Truett Theological Seminary in 2007.
