Legendary civil rights activist Ruby Sales, a Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) alumna, joins us at Middle Collegiate Church on Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday to be interviewed by The Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis. A Q&A session will follow the 1-hour interview.

Ruby Sales is founder of the The SpiritHouse Project, a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization that uses the arts, research, education, action, and spirituality to bring diverse peoples together to work for racial, economic, and social justice, as well as for spiritual maturity.

The Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis is Senior Minister at Middle Collegiate Church, a 900-member multiracial, welcoming, and inclusive congregation in New York City. She is an activist, preacher, and fierce advocate for racial equality, economic justice, and LGBTQ equality. Middle Church and Jacqui’s activism for these issues has been featured in media such as The Today Show, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Essence and The Huffington Post. Jacqui is a frequent contributor to MSNBC.
