Announcing the DMin in Public Theology Program

Middle Church is excited to announce that, starting in January 2019, Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, Rev. John Janka, and Rev. Dr. Terry Todd of Drew Theological School (Drew University) will offer a new program: Doctor of Ministry concentrated in Public Theology at Drew University. The program is particularly aimed to cultivate and grow public leader with a commitment to justice movements and #RevolutionaryLove.

With a focus on social justice, liturgy and the arts, Doctor of Ministry in Public Theology will recharge and reorient candidates for transformational leadership in congregations, justice organizations and beyond. Participates will have the opportunity to learn in a community committed to cultivating a prophetic theological witness for these times. Drew Theological School is looking for leaders committed to boldly connecting their faith to the world through spiritual imagination and creative activism.

Middle Church’s annual Revolutionary Love Conference will form a part of the hybrid program, with in-person meetings and online learning. Participants will work 1-1 and in small groups with other DMin candidates. Read more about the program and apply at the Drew Theological School website.
