Talking Taboo: American Christian Women Get Frank About Faith
Sunday, March 16 at 4:00 PM - 122 Second Avenue
Celebrate Women's History Month with the contributors of Talking Taboo, a new collection of essays from 40 American Christian Women Under 40. Brief readings from co-editor Erin Lane ("Married Without Children"), contributor Jennifer Crumpton ("Breaking with Biblical Authority") and contributor Aja Monet ("No One Teaches Us How to Be Daughters"), will be followed by a discussion on how communities of faith can create safe spaces for women to speak tough stuff. Open to the public. Books will be available for purchase. Learn more about the project at webetalkingtaboo.com.
