Honoring the First Responders

March 30, 2015

On Palm Sunday morning, Middle Collegiate Church welcomed the first responders to worship, gave them a standing ovation, and offered them a blessing. Middle Church opened its doors to recovery workers responding to the East Village gas explosion for meeting spaces, restrooms, copier and coffee during the fire on Thursday and through out the on-going recovery efforts. They are expected to be with us through Good Friday.
