Love. Period. PRIDE 2012

June 1, 2012

Whether you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or straight—or whether you reject labels related to sexual orientation and gender identity—please join us for PRIDE 2012 at Middle Church. Our calendar is full of fun and spirit-filled events, including worship celebrations, a cabaret, and social gatherings. As usual, we will be marching on Pride Sunday with a float featuring the Middle Church Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir. This year, we will also be joined by dancers from Fort Washington Church and marchers from other Collegiate ministries.

Our worship in June includes many offerings that celebrate the lives of LGBT people. On June 3 at 11:15AM, we will offer selections from the GLAAD Media Award-nominated This One Girl’s Story. On June 10 at 6:00PM, our featured artists include The House of Ninja. On June 17 at 11:15AM, Chad Tanaka Pack will be offering reflections about fathers and sons. And on June 24 at 11:15AM, join us for our annual Heritage of Pride Sunday Worship, when Jacqui will be joined by guest preacher Kathy Le May.

In addition to these exciting worship celebrations at Middle Church in June, please join us for the following events! These events are co-sponsored with our sister ministries of the Collegiate Churches of New York.
