  • Celebrate the Middle Church Choir and Donate to the Jonathan Dudley Worship and Music Fund June 11, 2015 Jonathan Dudley will retire at the end of June after serving as the Middle Church Choir Director for more than three decades. An album of the Middle Church Choir will be recorded during morning worship on June 14, 2015 and the choir and Jonathan will be honored. Congregants can give to the Jonathan Dudley Worship and Music Fund to honor his legacy.

  • Celebrate Black History Month with Special Guest Ben Vereen February 10, 2015 Celebrate Black History month on Sunday, February 15 with special guest Ben Vereen at our 11:15 am worship celebration. Both the Middle Church Choir and the Middle Church Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir will be performing. The sermon will include a special dance by Allison Mickelson and Je Hooper to the song, “Changed by Name” with a solo by Robert Hughes and excerpts from the book Citizen and reflections on Black History by Ben Vereen and Jacqui Lewis.

  • Art Doing Justice December 4, 2014 Poet and actor Daniel J. Watts, who has rapped scripture at Middle Church, our own Charles Randolph-Wright, director of Motown the Musical, and Motown cast members joined other actors and artists to deliver a message last July about the death of Eric Garner.
