  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday Worship and Teach-In January 14, 2014 In an act honoring Martin Luther King’s message of non-violence, Middle Collegiate Church – a multiracial congregation - will literally “beat a sword into a plowshare” – by forging a gun into a farming tool during worship. The tool will be presented to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s office after it is completed. Sparks will fly as a gun is transformed.

  • Soul Food Truck Arrives December 15 November 26, 2013 Beginning December 15, chef Nyna Sargeant will help Kele and Renee offer hot meals to Middle family members for Chat & Chew. The suggested donation for a meal is $2; the cost is supplemented by their generosity and our justice ministry. Of course, larger donations are welcome and no one will be turned away. After Chat & Chew, the truck will deliver 100 free meals to Tompkins Square Park.
