Middle Church is a teaching congregation in which adult education and activities are geared not only to nurture the mind, body, and spirit, but to equip us for justice-seeking and reconciliation. We value spending time with one another and are blessed every time we come together.

Spirit, fellowship, and food abound at our brunch following the Sunday morning worship celebration. Seasonal classes provide a theological and sociological space to not only analyze the issues of the day, but to dream God's dream of a healed world. Sermon talk-backs give members an opportunity to discuss the topic of the day. In Being and Doing Groups, members find meaningful relationships as they work, learn, and spend time together.

Ongoing Classes and Groups

Living the Word: Sexuality and Our Faith
Explore the intersection of sexuality, spirituality, and scripture! The class will examine many aspects of sexuality-including intimacy, sensuality, sexual identity, sexual health, and sexualization-grounding its work in spirituality and scripture study. We will incorporate activities from the UCC/UUA's renowned "Our Whole Lives" curricula and commit to a sexual ethic of mutuality, love, and justice. Facilitated by Intern Elizabeth Bukey with Associate Minister Chad Tanaka Pack. 1:30-3:00 PM, Sundays thru April 29.
