Coming Out on the Bible and Human Sexuality
Sundays, June 1 and 15 • 1:00 pm
One writer has said that the Bible is script for life. What does
the Bible have to say about human sexuality? Are there different
scripts for heterosexuals and homosexuals? Do we read the Bible
differently when it comes to sexuality than for other ethical issues?
This course will address texts in context and how we read
them (hermeneutics). Led by Jacqui Lewis and Brad Motta.
Pride Brunch and Auction
Sunday, June 8 • 12:30 pm
The Pride Brunch is an annual event that is fun, delicious, and
money-making. We will pass the hat to help pay for the brunch
and then the real fun begins. Donated items from Middle members
and friends will be put up for auction. Who knows what gems
you might go home with? The money from the Pride Brunch and
Auction goes to pay for the Middle Church float at the Gay Pride
March. Eat, drink, and buy! It’s all for a good cause.
