Our gospel choir doesn't see skin color or stick to one style. It is a gloriously diverse and committed group of singers from around the world. Started in 1986, it serves as a multicultural testament to our church today.
 
It is recognized as a pre-eminent multicultural gospel choir with an eclectic range of songs. Recent appearances include the "Today Show" on NBC, "Good Morning America" on ABC and the UK Show "Sunday Night Project" on Channel 4.  
 
Our gospel choir sings every other Sunday at Middle Church and rounds out its appearances with special events around town and the country, including the East Village's Howl Fest, a play reading with Danny Glover and appearing throughout hurricane ravaged New Orleans bringing a ray of sunshine to damaged and dispirited souls.
