Bag lunches consist of:

Sandwich (Turkey, Ham, Peanut Butter + Jelly, Veg., etc…)
Granola bar
Small fruit (orange, grapes, banana, etc…)
(apples are okay if you slice them and put them in baggies because our neighbors may have dental issues)
Small water or juice box
A note of encouragement “You are awesome”, “You are Loved”, etc…
(we are also making our lunches while wearing safety protocols like masks and gloves)

We ask each Butterfly to please write the date and describe the sandwich on the lunch bags they assemble.

All of the lunches will be prepared in individual kitchens with gloves and face masks worn for safety protocols. Volunteers will be reimbursed for purchases through Middle Church’s outreach funds. We will distribute the lunches throughout Sara Roosevelt Park from Houston to Canal Street. Any remaining lunches will be distributed to Washington Square Park.
