The expectations for religious communities and faith leaders are intensifying. Now, not only do you need to create stirring worship, but you also need to stream it on multiple platforms, communicate your message across social media, and continue to provide the care your people need. And all of this is taking place amid rising fascism, and deteriorating social systems. Don’t shoulder this weight alone!
At this two-day convening, you’ll learn from a congregation that’s thriving amid these challenges. Despite losing our sanctuary to a devastating fire, Middle Church has continued to rapidly grow—adding 600+ members across 40+ states and 20+ countries in under two years, and building vibrant multiethnic community to fight racist violence. Learn from our staff and some of the nation’s foremost leaders and thinkers. Get the skills you need and let’s win the justice we deserve.
A convening about hybridity has to be hybrid! The program on Saturday, April 23 will be held entirely over Zoom, but on Sunday, April 24 you have the option to participate virtually or in-person. We will gather physically at Fort Washington Collegiate Church in Washington Heights, NYC. Join us there for worship, and to watch the day’s panels together, followed by breakout conversations at the end of the day.
