Sermon: “In God’s House,” by Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis
Mark your calendars! This will be our first worship celebration since the beginning of the pandemic where you have the opportunity to come and worship together in-person with your Middle family! Weather permitting, we will host a beautiful outdoor celebration in the street in front of Middle Church. Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis will preach, as we gather in the street in front of the sanctuary. This celebration is a proclamation: No fire can burn revolutionary love. The songs within and between us sustained us through the blaze, and will continue to lift us up as they echo off the surrounding buildings. Together, we form the triumphant voice of God that heralds liberation!
Due to rising COVID levels, we are requiring all attendees to be vaccinated and wear a mask! If you have not been vaccinated, we lovingly invite you to join us on our livestream for virtual celebration.
Those joining us in person, please enter at the northwest corner of 6th St. and 2nd Avenue, near Mighty Quinn’s BBQ. You will go through a security checkpoint where vaccine proof will be checked, bags will be inspected, and you will receive communion elements for the worship.
Please RSVP here if you plan to attend in person! To help keep everyone safe, registration is required and we have to cap the worship at 300 attendees. No one will be allowed to enter the worship enclosure if you are not registered. And due to space restrictions, no pets will be able to enter.

The worship will be livestreamed for anyone who prefers to celebrate with us online! In the event of rain, we will gather in the sanctuary of Marble Collegiate Church (1 W 29th St, New York, NY) starting at 1:30 PM ET.
