How I’m Getting Through COVID: A New Play

October 25, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join the Middle players for a production of How I’m Getting Through COVID: A New Play by Harold Slazer and Charles Reaves. The show will feature COVID-related stories and songs that help tell how we are all coping with this last year during Covid in our lives, told from the heart with humor, music and love.

Harold Slazer, creator of the Acting and Writing programs at Middle, recently received a $5,000 grant from New York Foundation for the Arts’ City Artist Corps. https://www.nyfa.org/awards-grants/city-artist-corps-grants/ The grants were distributed to more than 3,000 artists who were both hard hit by the pandemic and who may have been left out of other local and federal funding opportunities, to help them sustain their practice and engage the public across New York City’s five boroughs. Harold will use the funds to support Middle Players, who throughout the pandemic continued to put on shows virtually.

You can either join us virtually, or live in NYC! If you’d like to attend the performance in-person at 145 West 28th St, you must be vaccinated and wear a mask. To RSVP and save your seat, email Harold Slazer.

To watch the show virtually, join the stream on Facebook Live!
