Poor People’s Campaign Moral March on Washington

June 18 @ 4:00 am - 9:00 pm

Poor People’s Campaign – Moral March on Washington, D.C.
On Saturday, June 18, the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is organizing the Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls.  Middle Collegiate is organizing a bus to attend what promises to be a generationally transformative gathering of poor and low-wealth people, state, faith and community leaders and moral advocates to challenge systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation, distorted religious nationalism, white supremacy and more.  This free bus will leave from Union Square at approximately 4:55 AM and will return around 9 PM. Everyone will be required to show proof of vaccination and test negative on a COVID rapid test within 48 hours of getting on the bus.  Join us on the bus! The bus is free, and if you need a COVID rapid test, those are available.  Please contact Kelly Smith to register for the bus, ask questions and get information on when and where to pick up a free PCR test.
