As we remember Jesus’ crucifixion, we renew our commitment to fight the crucifying forces in our own country and culture. Whether it’s anti Blackness, racism and police killings, transphobic legislation and anti trans violence, people dying from lack of abortion access or deaths upon our border, wherever people die because they are abused by state power, Christ is crucified.

We’ll premiere a traditional Tenebrae, remembering Jesus’ seven last words. Our wonderful ministers will offer homilies, paired to beautiful music. Take a pause in your day, to confront the violence we must overcome.
