Sermon by ALOK
We are honored to welcome to our pulpit ALOK (they/them) who will preach for Trans Day of Remembrance. ALOK is an incredible author, poet, comedian and public speaker. As a mixed-media artist, their work explores themes of trauma, belonging, and the human condition.
Trans Day of Remembrance is a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia. Here at Middle, we know that this memorialization is more than just one day and we remain fiercely committed to advocating and seeking gender justice.
