SUMMARY:Hands Off! Day of Action
DESCRIPTION:Location: Bryant Park\, NYC to Madison Square Park\, and actions nationwide \nTrump\, Musk\, and the Far-Right majorities in Congress are gutting services\, firing workers\, raising prices\, and racing to slash Medicaid\, Social Security\, civil liberties\, universities\, the Department of Education\, DEI\, voting rights\, LGBTQ+ rights\, and more. The truth of our nation’s history is being attacked and suppressed. \nIt’ll take more than marches to change this country’s direction—but every resistance needs a mass movement behind it. It needs people of faith to pray with their feet. \nThat’s why Middle is joining this National Day of Action. We will gather in Bryant Park at 1:00 PM\, march on Fifth Avenue\, and end at Madison Square Park. \nEmail Rev. Amanda at ahambrick@middlechurch.org to be added to the Signal chat for the day if you’d like to march in coalition. \nIf you’re not in NYC\, find your local HANDS OFF Day of Action here: https://handsoff2025.com/—and let us know where you’re marching!
