SUMMARY:Middle Solidarity Fast for Gaza
DESCRIPTION:SIGN UP HERE \nFrom Monday\, August 4th\, through Monday\, August 11th\, we will be joining the global solidarity movement that is participating in the Fast for Gaza. \nWe will fast in solidarity with the people of Gaza who are being starved\, as blockades continue to limit access to food\, water\, and formula. \nWe will fast to bring attention to the ongoing crisis and to demand action from our elected officials. \nWe will fast to demonstrate that we are all the children of G-D and our liberation is interconnected. \nWe will fast because the moment demands it. \nSIGN UP HERE \nThere are several ways you can participate: by joining a group fast on Monday\, August 4th; signing up to fast for a 24-hour period as part of the chain fast; or donating the amount you would spend on food for one day to an organization that works to alleviate hunger—either in your local community or around the globe. \n(We understand that fasting and/or monetary donations are not possible for everyone. Please let us know if there are other ways you’d like to participate this week. Alternate options include attending a local rally or action\, setting aside intentional time for prayer\, sending encouragement to fasters\, or volunteering with a local community organization.) \nTo learn more about the Fast for Gaza\, please visit Fast for Gaza and Veterans for Peace. \nYou will receive a confirmation email by Sunday\, August 4th. \nSIGN UP HERE
