DESCRIPTION:August 31 – Sept 4 \nRegister Now\nWe are THRILLED to offer our annual *FREE week of summer camp! Freedom Summer Camp is focused on Justice\, Activism and the Arts where we explore collective liberation and dream together for a better tomorrow.  Though camp is hosted by Middle\, Judson and Trinity Lower East Side Churches\, it is a secular camp and no religious affiliation or experience is necessary — diversity of thought and experience is encouraged. \nWhat: Freedom Summer Camp 2026\nWho: Children and Youth Entering K-Entering 8th Grade. We will have two tracks\, elementary and middle!\nWhen: Monday\, August 31st – Friday\, September 4th\nTime: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM**\nWhere: 50 East 7th St\, New York\, NY 10003 \n**Camp ends at 12:00 on Friday\, September 4th\, and parents and guardians are invited for a closing camp celebration and lunch at that time.  We will be done by 1:30 PM so if you have plans for the long Labor Day weekend you can begin early. \nIF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD\, PLEASE FILL OUT A FORM FOR EACH CHILD. \nThank you in advance for the time this takes.   \n*While camp remains free\, we are asking for a $25.00 camp deposit to ensure your child’s place and to offset supply fees. Families with more than one camper pay a maximum of $40.00.  To reserve your camper’s spot\, please venmo @MiddleChurch with the amount\, and in the note put the camper’s name and Freedom Summer 2026.  Alternatively\, you can go to www.middlechurch.org/donate\, put the amount\, and in the memo write the camper’s name and Freedom Summer Camp.  We do not want anyone to miss out on camp because of the supply fee.
