Participants learn a diverse repertoire\, including pieces from Beethoven\, the Beatles\, and Broadway\, which helps them build confidence and receive support from the congregation. The chorus performs monthly during worship services and has showcased their talents at venues like Joe’s Pub at The Public\, The Lower Eastside Girls Club\, and the New York Public Library. \nRehearsals are conducted via in-person on Sundays from 1:00 to 2:15 pm. \nWhile there is no cost to join\, children should have a passion for music\, a strong desire to learn\, and the ability to read. \nFor more information or to join\, interested individuals can contact the director\, John Del Cueto.

DESCRIPTION:A strong democracy depends on civic engagement and a commitment to pluralism. We come together every other week to learn\, discuss\, and share our individual perspectives on elections and political issues affecting our communities and nation. Importantly\, we use this group to take action. We register new voters and mobilize voters for every election. We encourage members to become poll workers and monitors\, and to take action on voting rights and other justice issues. We engage in nonpartisan postcard writing campaigns to encourage people to vote and remove any financial barrier so that all citizens can equally participate. Together\, we send thousands of cards and letters and amplify our impact. DESCRIPTION:Join us as we take God’s fierce love to the streets in a way that only Middle Church can. Help us celebrate the sacredness of our queer and trans siblings while standing against the systemic stripping of our rights.We will have signs to distribute (or bring your own!) and merch to hand out to fellow marchers.We will gather at Apollo Bagels (73 Greenwich Ave\, New York NY 10014) by 10:30am to meet as a group. Please wear Middle merch if you can so we can easily identify each other. \nThe March route details as estimated by the QLM organizers: \n\nLocation: 3 Greenwich Ave\, New York\, NY 10014\nA small speaking engagement will take place at 11am and then we will begin marching around 11:20am.\nThe March route will go across Greenwich to 8th Avenue\, then north to Lenape Circle to disperse into Central Park.\nThere will be a midpoint join-the-march area at the Penn Station/MSG/Post Office Steps area between 31st and 33rd Street that the front of the march will probably reach sometime between 12 and 12:30 for others to join.\n\nTo let us know you’re planning to meet us\, please email Elise. \n\nPride Meet up at Central Park\n1:30-3:00pm \nJune 29 Join us as we meet up with our marching contingent from the Queer Liberation March!
