Hello!

I’m going to keep this short as it i late on Saturday night and I’m sleepy!

Sunday April 10 is “Palm Sunday.” That’s the Sunday before Easter, and it celebrates the moment where Jesus arrives in Jerusalem, marking the last week of his life. As he rode in through one of the gates of Jerusalem, the crowd hailed him and laid palms at the foot of the donkey — a sort of “laying out the red carpet” for him.

This scene takes place in all four gospels, and We will read the account in the gospel of John. Only John mentions the palms.

Our text is John 12:12-13, though for Bible in the Middle we’ll read more of it.
