Middle Church Freedom Summer

We’re so excited to begin gathering in-person again! God delights in our community—in our ability to be physically present for one another. While we can’t wait to see your faces outside of a Zoom square, we are still in a global pandemic so please click here to read our COVID-19 guidelines, which are an expression of how we love one another and our mutual agreements to do our part to keep everyone healthy. Specifically, all volunteers will be fully vaccinated, and every person, adult, and child, will be wearing masks along with doing daily health screenings.

And we’re particularly excited about ways that kids and families can participate in “Freedom Summer” programs for fun and liberative education. See the list below for ways that your kiddos can participate. This time is designed for youth and children to explore activism, the arts, faith and will grow ethical leaders for a more just society.

Once you register, more information will be provided.

August 23-25, 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. ET: Kids Freedom Summer Camp. This will take place in the Garden of Most Holy Redeemer, which is located at 173 E 3rd St.
