We are mourning that our beloved, historic sanctuary at Middle Collegiate Church has burned, compromising our entire physical plant. But no fire can stop Revolutionary Love. We’re still busy, working to heal the world with love, through worship, crisis care, small groups, justice programs, and trainings, like the Martin Luther King Jr. Teach-in we’ll offer on January 17, 2021. Even as we grieve, we know that out of the ashes, something powerful is rising.
We feel the outpouring of love we’ve received from the Collegiate Church family, our East Village neighbors and from all over the globe. You’ve claimed Middle as YOUR church, and we feel your prayers. As we prepare to reimagine, redesign, reframe and rebuild our sacred space, replacing what was lost in the fire, your donation makes that possible. Thank you SO much!
