Minister for Care & Congregational Life

Jillian Langford, MTS serves as the Minister for Care and Congregational Life at Middle Collegiate Church. Jillian earned her Master of Theological Studies from Villanova University in 2020 and is in the final stages of completing her PhD in theological pedagogy. Her theological expertise is in the intersection of personal spiritual growth, theological pedagogy, and healthy psychological development. She writes and publishes youth ministry curriculum for students of all ages.

Prior to her work at Middle Church, Jillian served as the Director of Operations and Programs at the Center for Christogenesis. Jillian was the founder of the Center's Christophany Group initiative which brought hundreds of spiritual seekers from around the world together in virtual community during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. She is passionate about intergenerational and multicultural learning opportunities.

Jillian lives in New York City where she continues her research in process theology, theologies of friendship, religious pedagogy, and spiritual ecology.
