Mosaic Concert

December 15, 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Doors Open at 5:00PM EST and the Show Begins at 5:30PM EST
Join The Mosaic Series for its 8th Annual Anniversary Concert, a vibrant celebration of music, interfaith holiday joy, and artivism in support of Middle Rising, the rebuilding campaign for Middle Church. Founded eight years ago by Matthew Johnson Harris in collaboration with Middle Church, The Mosaic Project has produced 14 events, including 3 virtual concerts, featured over 100 Broadway performers, and raised more than $100,000 for various organizations. This year, the concert will take place on Sunday, December 15th, at Judson Memorial Church, and all proceeds will directly support Middle Church’s rebuilding efforts after the devastating fire of 2020. In addition, the proceeds will also benefit initiatives central to the Middle Church Arts community, including The Art & Soul Podcast, The Mosaic Series, arts in worship, and other transformative arts programs that nurture creativity, healing, and social change—ensuring that the legacy of Middle Church as a thriving space for artists and activists continues in its new home.

We know people are holding a diverse collection of feelings this Holiday Season and we hope this concert is a container for all of your humanity and you hopefully leave with a little more joy and peace.

We believe in the power of Love. Period.

Through Love, we are each created in God’s image and filled with the Divine Spark. No matter whom we love, no matter how we look, no matter where we are on our journey, God’s imprint is in every person of every race/ethnicity, every gender, and every sexual orientation. We believe God speaks many languages and is calling us on many paths to peace—Shalom. We believe that Love put on flesh—brown, poor, Jewish baby flesh—and came to live among us. We believe God lives among us still; we are the living body of Christ. We are the hands, feet, and heartbeat of God. We believe the Spirit of God calls us to freedom, and we are not free until all of us are free.
