We’re excited to join the FY26 People’s Budget Campaign Launch on Wednesday, February 19 at 11 AM at the steps of the Tweed Building (52 Chambers St, NYC). Together, we’ll fight for a People’s Budget and demand #CareNotCuts for all New Yorkers.
Why It Matters:
Mayor Adams’ budgets have cut critical city services multiple times, leaving New Yorkers struggling with issues like insufficient 3K and childcare seats, underfunded CUNY programs, and deteriorating parks.
Our campaign, the People’s Plan NYC, envisions a budget that prioritizes care, dignity, and justice. At the launch, we’ll share our core demands and kick off a five-month push for funding essential services like public schools, childcare, CUNY, and safety programs. Full demand list to be released by the end of next week!
We hope to see you on February 19 as we fight for a people’s budget that works for all New Yorkers! RSVP with Rev Amanda
