He/Him

Director of Media & Worship Production

With a background in nonprofit communications, market research, and video and music production, Mike joined the Middle Church staff in the fall of 2023. A seasoned marketing strategist and creative professional, he brings extensive experience in digital media, branding, and content development. His expertise spans live event management, online strategy, and audience engagement—helping communities stay connected and inspired.

As a musician and songwriter- Mike got started in event production by booking, promoting and performing at DIY live shows. Quickly putting AV-club knowledge to the test and honing his skills in live sound while pushing PA systems to their breaking point. Through promoting events and artists on platforms like MySpace and Facebook, he gained a deep appreciation for the power of communities and online networks to collaborate, amplify voices, and foster meaningful connections.

During his tenure at the Greater New York Councils, BSA, Mike served on the NYC team that lead the way toward reshaping the organization’s national policies to becoming a more inclusive and welcoming space for Queer and Trans youth and adult members. He contributed to the development of the NYC council’s social justice pledge and coordinated events and trainings for leadership featuring expert presenters on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Accessibility, and Youth Mental Health.

Blending creativity, technology, and strategic insight, Michael is dedicated to fostering vibrant, inclusive communities—both online and in person—by embracing ethical digital innovations, impactful storytelling, and social impact.

We believe in the power of Love. Period.

Through Love, we are each created in God’s image and filled with the Divine Spark. No matter whom we love, no matter how we look, no matter where we are on our journey, God’s imprint is in every person of every race/ethnicity, every gender, and every sexual orientation. We believe God speaks many languages and is calling us on many paths to peace—Shalom. We believe that Love put on flesh—brown, poor, Jewish baby flesh—and came to live among us. We believe God lives among us still; we are the living body of Christ. We are the hands, feet, and heartbeat of God. We believe the Spirit of God calls us to freedom, and we are not free until all of us are free.
