AAPIDA Heritage Month at Middle
At Middle Church, the light guiding our feet is our vision of a world free of racism and white supremacy. This demands celebration of the unique and beautiful particularity of AAPIDA (Asian American Pacific Islander Desi American) communities! We also believe that art and storytelling is one of the most important ways that we can uproot bigotry and sew the seeds for social change. So, this month in particular, we’re focused on telling diverse Asian stories, focusing on themes of joy, community and resilience. We have sermons and book talks by New York Times bestselling authors, analysis from Asian scholars, queer oral history, community storytelling events and more!
