April 2, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join Middle staff for our first in-person Young Adults gathering of the year. We’ll collectively go to a free event held at the Brooklyn Museum; we are told to arrive at 7 pm for free admission, though the exhibit begins at 8 pm. From the website, “Celebrate The Future of Black: Afrofuturism, Black Comics, and Superhero Poetry, an anthology exploring Afrofuturism by writers and artists of color, with readings from contributors Anastacia-Renée Tolbert and Quincy Scott Jones and editor Cynthia Manick. Presented as part of Carnegie Hall’s Afrofuturism festival.” Please let Darrell and Elise know you’re attending by RSVPing to youngadults@middlechurch.org.

IN-PERSON – As always, we will observe strict COVID guidelines and wear masks indoors per Middle Church’s and the Brooklyn Museum’s policies.
